Entanglement Festival Launch Evening! THIS Friday 17th October, 5:30PM-8PM, Reid Lecture Theatre
The Student Climate Action Network (StuCAN) are excited to invite you to our 2025 StuCAN Festival Launch Evening, happening this Friday from 5.30 to 8.00 PM, at the Reid Lecture Theatre in the Glasgow School of Art!
This year’s Festival theme is ENTANGLEMENT (which you can find out more about here), exploring the "more than human" connections we share in the built environment, and we are excited to kick off our weekend of climate action with an evening of talks from:
· Becca Thomas, Director and Architect at New Practice
· Blanche Cameron, Associate Professor of Environmental Design at the Bartlett School of Architecture
· Hani Salih, Researcher, writer and curator at the Design Museum's Future Observatory
· Meha Patel, Festival Co-Director at The Students Climate Action Network
Following the talks, there will be a Q&A and discussion at the Reid Refectory where you can share your thoughts on how we can situate ourselves within the built environment and design regeneratively for all on our future planet. Come along for an evening of ideas, soft drinks, snacks, and the chance to connect with students, staff, and climate action practitioners from across the UK! The event is open to all StuCAN Festival participants, GSA students, staff and students from other Scottish schools of architecture! We also have a limited number of tickets for local professionals and anyone interested in climate action!
