Countdown to COP26

  • Southblock 60-64 Osborne Street Glasgow, Scotland, G1 5QH United Kingdom (map)

ARCHITECTURE IN A CLIMATE EMERGENCY

Glasgow will host the COP26 climate change summit in November of this year, becoming the global focus of climate change action. The GIA is doing a 'Countdown to COP' bringing the performance of Glasgow and Scotland into focus and gives us a chance to showcase the good work you have been doing and will be doing in the future.

With the City Council having already pledged the city will be "net zero" by 2030, will Glasgow beat Edinburgh to hit this target? What can we as architects and designers do to help?

Come together to hear about the latest climate emergency guidance from the RIBA and discuss the positive impact we can have.
