A social evening for sharing and discussing as part of the annual #DesignPop-Up at the Briggait.
The theme of the PaperCUT, 'Freespace For ...', picks on the the theme of this years Biennale di Venezia set by biennale curators Yvonne Farrell and Shelley McNamara from Graftons Architects, all of our speakers are involved with The Happenstance which is Scotland's Collateral Event at the biennale.
The Happenstance brings together artists and architects to work with young people accross Scotland to discover what Freespace means to them and their communities. The lead artists/curators WAVEparticle’s methodology explores what can be built through mapping connections, connecting needs and resources, and in connecting ideas of Freespace in both Scotland and Venice.
