Based in the Institute for Sustainable Construction within Edinburgh Napier University, Wojciech is a structural timber design and analysis consultant with expertise in research and innovation of massive timber systems, offsite modern methods of construction, building physics and timber engineering connections.

The session will cover the research undertaken into UK Mass Timber to date, the Construction Scotland Innovation Centre (CSIC) Mass Timber Commercialisation project, formation of the Mass Timber Alliance and the outputs of the project which is nearing completion.

These outputs include briefing papers, technical details automated calculation sheets and BIM objects, useless for all architects and designers interested in the use of this inherently low carbon, sustainable material.
