The Glasgow Institute of Architects is looking to undertake a reform of its constitution and incorporate the organisation as a Scottish Charitable Incorporated Organisation (SCIO). The institute is proposing to hold a Special General Meeting of the membership to vote on two special resolutions to facilitate this process.
The resolutions proposed will seek approval from the membership to incorporate the organisation as a two-tier SCIO; and will seek to approve the introduction of a dissolution clause into the existing GIA constitution.
The notice, agenda and resolutions can be found here.

Please note, only Chartered RIAS Membership Classes (Chartered, Fellow, Academic) are currently eligible to vote. RIAS Student, Associate, Affiliate and Honorary Fellows are not eligible to vote.
