6.30pm Annual Lecture - Learning Architecture with Paul Stallan

The theme of this year’s Annual Lecture is ‘Learning Architecture' and we are very pleased to have Paul Stallan as speaker. Stallan-Brand Architecture + Design Ltd won the GIA Supreme Award last year for the striking and carefully designed Broomlands Primary School.

Paul will be talking about the differences between delivering teaching environments and learning environments, talking about the subject he said: "Our practice is committed to working with progressive local authorities to deliver schools that liberate learners so that education can be more fun, more creative, more engaging less stressful. The epidemic of poor mental health across our young people terrifies us. Please help reimagine the school experience."

Our Venue - Civic House is being developed as a learning space for inclusive city development. It provides workspaces, a workshop, a cafe and a venue that will host a programme of activity that supports cross-disciplinary learning, experimentation and critical dialogue.
