Membership
Membership of the GIA is free of charge to both students and chartered RIAS subscribers who live and/or work in the GIA chapter area. The GIA is the largest of the six RIAS chapters and extends from Gretna in the south-east to Oban, Coll and Tiree in the north-west.
Activate your online account to register for all GIA CPD events, competitions and awards. Members also have the benefit of free job adverts, reduced entry fee to GIA competitions and special offers.

Student Membership
Membership to the RIAS is free to all students studying at the one of the six Schools of Architecture in Scotland. The GIA currently has two Student Representatives on Council.
