GIA 2016 exhibition @ Scotland Build

2016 has been a fantastic year, a very busy year indeed. Please come and join us to see our retrospective exhibition showcasing all the fantastic work that the GIA has carried out for the Festival of Architecture 2016.
The Glasgow Institute of architects delivered 5 projects across Scotland. The eolas pavilion, a short film ‘Re-imagining Glasgow’, the 37 years exhibition and Talking Building map project, and we designed 6 architects IPAs, including Mackintosh, Gillespie Kidd & coia, greek Thomson, Robert Adam, Sir basel Spence & honeyman & keppie.
In addition, the GIA is running the incrEDIBLE ARCHITECTURE competition, so as well as visiting our stand you can come and see the wonderful edible creations created by local architects, engineers, construction industry related firms & individuals.
Scotland Build is a key annual event focusing on the future of Scotland’s built environment and constructing industry. The event is returning to the SECC on the 23rd and 24th of November 2016. The show provides opportunities for leading industry bodies, suppliers and buyers from Scotland’s built environment to network, create new business and to position themselves as leaders with in this marketplace. The GIA run regular events and learning activities which will assist in supporting the Continuing Professional Development [CPD] obligations of the individual Architects who are members of RIAS in the Glasgow Chapter area along with social and networking events.
